The Director of Nursing Services will join an established Community Health Center that has been providing top quality care in Washington State for the last 16 years. This healthcare system was recently recognized by Lifepoint Health as a National Quality Leader. This recognized Acute Care Services department includes the Emergency Department, Med Surg, ICU, OB and Nursing Administration Units, providing the Director of Nursing Services with ample opportunities for growth and service line development.
The Director will be responsible for the clinical and administrative operations of the Medical Surgical, Critical Care, Employee Health/Infection Control, Emergency Department, Utilization Review and Discharge Planning for this 24 bed Hospital level IV Trauma Center.
Reporting up to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer will oversee and work in collaboration with department leaders and organizational staff to ensure compliance and quality patient care throughout the Hospital setting..
Supported by an exceptional team of MD’s, RN’s and other healthcare leadership, the Director of Nursing Services will be a valuable piece of this Joint Commission Accredited Hospital staff.
Operational oversight, fiscal management, implementation of performance improvement, and maintaining standards for regulatory compliance will be a few components of the Director of Nursing Services responsibilities. The Director can also expect to oversee training program development for staff, implement policies and procedures to maintain the consistent quality of care in each department. An MSN prepared candidate with significant Emergency Department leadership experience will surely earn a quick interview.
