Trusted Staffe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing on behalf of a reputable regional medical center located in Roxboro, NC. This leadership role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated nursing professional to oversee and enhance the quality of nursing care within the medical center.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure integrated patient care.
Manage the department's budget and resources efficiently.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to patient care and staff performance.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Qualifications
Current North Carolina or Compact State RN License.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
Two to three years of professional nursing experience.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
