Job Description


This dynamic Director-level position is responsible for leading New Business Development efforts at our organization. The role involves identifying, investigating, and evaluating new business opportunities aligned with our strategic objectives. The Director will cultivate strong consultative relationships with key end-users to position EIS as a preferred vendor. This leadership role requires exceptional organization, communication, and team management skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. We are eagerly anticipating future growth and seeking talented individuals who are motivated to contribute to our success.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with current Sales Managers and their existing clients to strategically expand business opportunities, ensuring alignment with client needs; lead the identification and targeting of current clients in which there is an opportunity to expand business growth throughout the company.
  • Develop strategic evaluations of customer white space to identify and prioritize new target logos, outlining the rationale, securing methodology, and organizational support requirements for each target.
  • Establish and maintain consultative client relationships, ensuring long-term success through retention strategies and proactive selling.
  • Develop and execute an effective sales process, encompassing targeting, qualifying, needs assessment, vision communication, contract negotiation, solution development, benefit presentation, and closure. Utilize CRM tools to track and manage activities.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, service contracts, and other necessary documents to successfully close sales.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including other sales managers, project developers, project managers, and customer service representatives.
  • Generate internal reports, compile meeting notes, and provide actionable feedback to management on client issues and business requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and association functions, delivering insights on market trends to clients and internal stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in direct sales and business development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
