Orion Solutions Group is working with a fast-growing 3PL, specialty provider of domestic transportation. Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of New Business Development to drive enterprise level engagements. You’ll play a crucial part in building and expanding the business, creating opportunities that have a significant impact on the company's growth and success within their High Value, Specialized Commodities vertical. This role will benefit someone who enjoys high level engagement, with the strong support of a specialized account management team to handle the execution and day to day.
Location: Remote (USA) with 50% travel.
Salary: $100-125K, plus commission.

Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with VP and C-suite levels to propose, develop, and implement strategic and complex transportation supply chain solutions.
- Build a pipeline by researching leads, qualifying prospects, and creating new business opportunities.
- Use market knowledge to provide strategic solutions.
- Management of RFP process through proposal and implementation of new business.
- Maintain cadence for regular QBRs to keep high level relationship ongoing.
- Collaborate effectively with Account Managers to onboard and implement new business.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in selling domestic supply chain/transportation services at an enterprise level.
- Experience selling within the high value or life sciences sales vertical.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills, and sales presence with the ability to overcome objections.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive spirit with a positive demeanor.
- Organized with ability to maintain CRM pipeline up to date.
- Experienced in using mathematical and analysis tools.
- Ability to travel anywhere within the United States as needed.
