Director of Membership Sales

A boutique real estate development and management company is seeking a Membership Director for a brand-new Private Club in Naples, FL. This position will be responsible for assisting ownership in the evaluations of sales strategies as well as ramping up member sales before opening. This group has an excellent reputation in the South West for creating unique luxury spaces. If you are an experienced Sales professional with previous experience in the Private Club industry then this is the position for you.


Additionally, there is ample room for upward growth, specifically as the Club Opens you'll have the ability to move into an operational role.


Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 (Negotiable with experience) + generous set bonus through year 1 and hefty commission structure in the following years.

OTE: $150,000 - $200,000

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience selling exclusive private club memberships.
  • An understanding of leading-edge member’s clubs and competitors.
  • Prior experience developing sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • The ability to cultivate brand and marketing partnerships in the luxury categories that can be programmed into a club setting.
  • Event planning experience to provide private tastings, showings, and tours to prospective members.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements standard operating procedures and membership programming.
  • Assists ownership in developing and executing strategic member programs, both short-range and long-range to achieve membership enrollment goals.
  • Develops and implements membership acquisition and retention strategies through public relations and marketing efforts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, such as membership category structures, fee structures, benefits, and policies relating to the retention of current members and acquisition of new members.
  • Assist in developing ongoing membership sales strategy for the club.
