About the Job:
Come join our team as our Marketing Director for Deity Microphones. Deity Microphones is our professional audio product and is the smallest of our three independent brands. This is a role for a scrappy marketer that knows how to do a lot with a smaller budget. You have ideally taken a product from around $1m to over $10m in AR. In this role, you will run a $1m marketing budget and a global team of 4 (including yourself). You will report to our President and Co-Founder.
Complete and implement an iterative marketing playbook and culture for all product launches, remarketing, promotions and events for our Deity Microphones product.
Lead multiple successful product launches, advertising initiatives, trade shows and community events.
Structure, design and recruit all marketing department talent needed for the long-term growth of the brand.
Takeover all agency, press, affiliate and dealer relationships
Profile:
You have been part of scaling a global marketing department from approximately $1M to at least $10M AR
You know how to build lightweight marketing processes and documentation from scratch and with new teams
You have strong B2C product marketing expertise - you understand the B2C product launch cycle, defining unique selling points.
You have strong experience with owning P&L, including budgeting, allocation and marketing impact analysis
You have digital marketing and e-commerce experience, including website design, conversion optimization, SEO, PCC, paid ads, blog writing, etc.
You have experience with agency management - you have successfully onboarded and managed multiple agencies and advertising partners
Nice to haves:
You have experience working with a physical product - you understand retail advertising, packaging design, physical marketing materials
You have built a successful partnership marketing platform for influencers/affiliates
You have implemented a growth experimentation, performance marketing and KPI culture
You have designed and implemented customer surveys, user segmentation, targeting and pricing strategy
You have experience with product displays, training store reps, MDF allocation
Experience designing technical training, educational events, and train-the-trainer programs
You have managed corporate news and public relationships
You have designed and launched community events and industry trade shows
Salary: $130,000-$180,000 base salary depending on experience plus benefits.
