A rapidly growing 100 person SaaS Ed-tech company is currently hiring for a fully remote Director of Marketing (only candidates with Ed-Tech experience will be considered) The ideal candidate will be on the East Coast, will have experience leading Marketing teams in the Ed-tech space!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Marketing to join our growing team in the technology industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SaaS and a proven track record of driving growth, developing innovative marketing strategies, and leading a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's narrative, driving demand, and positioning our company as a leader in the tech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our company's business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team to execute effective marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and engineering to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target audience.
  • Oversee the development of all marketing materials and ensure brand consistency across all channels and communications.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision making and optimize marketing performance.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure maximum ROI.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in the tech industry and adapt our marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and media.
  • Drive our public relations strategy and manage our company's public image.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role in the Ed-tech industry, with a focus on SaaS.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Proficient in using marketing software and tools.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A creative thinker with a customer-centric approach.
