Director of IT, Operations and Finance

This role requires a versatile individual who can effectively manage the IT budget, lead financial forecasting, and drive operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the IT budget ($34M expense, $12M capital), including tracking 300+ line items, managing contracts, and facilitating payments
• Develop and maintain budget templates, collaborating with IT, finance, and executive groups
• Lead multi-year forecasting and conduct proactive financial analysis
• Create and present high-quality work products to executives
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and contract renegotiations
• Manage a team of two direct reports who assist with reporting and payment processing
• Collaborate closely with IT leadership
• Drive change management initiatives and business improvements
• Conduct what-if scenarios and provide critical thinking to anticipate future needs

Qualifications:

• Strong background in finance; 10+ years in financial functions
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and macros
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Proven ability to multitask and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of IT priorities and operations
• Experience in change management and leading business improvements
• Multi-year forecasting experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations
• Previous experience managing staff preferred
