The Director of Insurance Operations administers all insurance operations and designs and implements policies to comply with regulations and industry practices. This position develops risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. In addition, this position evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. The Director of Insurance Operations also collaborates with Ever.Ag leaders and teams to promote organization-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and administer all insurance operations, including overseeing the insurance professionals team
Oversee the development of internal standard operating procedures.
First point of contact with day-to-day operational challenges
Ensures agents are following the rules and regulations set by FCIC, RMA and the AIP.
Ensures FCIC rules and guidelines are being followed by the agency.
Center point for education on products and development of new agents.
Ensures complete and accurate policy reporting and processing.
Monitors agency certifications, contracts, controlled business, conflict of interest.
Primary liaison between the insurance companies and agencies.
Identifies potential misrepresentation, fraud, waste, abuse, rebating and other compliance risks.
Leverages compliance expertise by reviewing crop insurance policies and procedures and other reporting requirements.
Leads strategic and operational planning.

Qualifications
BA/BS
MBA Preferred
A minimum of 5+ years risk management/insurance operations experience
Experience in Agriculture is a plus
