Kforce has a client in SLC, UT that is seeking a Director of Infrastructure that oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing hardware, networks, and data centers to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the organization's goals
Forecast future infrastructure needs and plan for capacity, performance, and scalability
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network engineers, systems engineers, and helpdesk staff
Lead infrastructure projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
Manage data centers and ensure their optimal operation
Future responsibilities include adding cloud capabilities and growing the local team
Collaborate with the Security Engineer to implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT assets
Requirements
Proven Infrastructure Leadership experience (Manager or Director level)
Recent hands-on experience
Strong experience in VMWare and Cisco technologies
Ability to function as a generalist
Cloud experience is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
