DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES AND SUPPORT

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. We encompass the town of Fallbrook and two schools aboard Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

The District is seeking to employ an outstanding leader who provides dynamic, responsive, collaborative, and forward-thinking vision, leadership, and management of technology systems and services to support the mission and goals of the District. This includes the planning, development, implementation, management, and maintenance of all applications, infrastructure, security, networks, technology training, and communications, as well as comprehensive support for student achievement data, instructional technology, and learning activities among students and staff.

Details For This Position

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 12 Months
• WORK SITE: Technology Department
• WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
• BENEFITS: Benefit package includes, Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 16 paid holidays a year).
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Any combination equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree, and a Master's Degree, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field. Four or more years of systems management and programming experience or four or more years of successful school site leadership with an emphasis on the application of technology to support student achievement and organizational success.
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Possession of a valid California Driver's License, and the ability to qualify for District vehicle insurance coverage. If the applicant is certificated, an Administrative Credential is desired.
• REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF): Letter of Introduction Letters of Recommendation, (3) all written within the last year and one from the most recent supervisor. A resume indicating at least four (4) years of experience in systems and programming or school site leadership with increasing responsibilities.
