Information Technology Manager

We are looking for a hands on IT Manager. This is a contract to possible hire position and you can be fully remote for this position. In this role you will be responsible for managing various projects, with a focus on migrating on-prem legacy resources to Cloud and SaaS solutions, especially Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities:

• Managing on prem to Azure migration projects
• Implement intune and office 365
• Help with architectural decisions
• Manage a 5 people team
• Break down projects into smaller deliverables
• Recommend and implement security best practices to sustain and improve the security of all devices
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to the team and help guide overall strategy
• Coordinate with other members of the IT Infrastructure team on cross-functional projects and deliverables
• Develop, review, and track all endpoint operations related contract deliverables to ensure they are delivered on time
• Manage and mentor support operations staff
• Work with upper management to define projects and goals
• Utilize Agile to manage projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in management and IT
• Experience with Intune and Microsoft 365 technologies
• Good knowledge of security best practices
• Proven experience with Microsoft O365 cloud management solutions (e.g., Intune, Endpoint Manager)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure management
• BA/BS or equivalent or prior relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
• Excellent professional presentation, communication, and documentation skills
• Must be able to create, implement and enforce processes and policies

Experience with Microsoft Defender, Secure Access Service Edge, and Zero Trust Architectures is a huge bonus.
