An information technology firm located in metro Jacksonville is seeking an IT Director to partner with senior leadership to support the company's IT program and manage a small, hybrid team.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Directs and manages the IT team and ensures that priorities are defined, requirements are developed, and appropriate processes are established
-Ensures timely delivery of technical and support services
-Monitors system performance and utilization
-Ensures that all aspects of technology is compliant with company standards
-Collaborates with internal departments and outside vendors to maintain technology plans that support our organizational goals
-Executes and updates company-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan
-Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and recommends technical solution
-Reviews hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts
-Contributes to the delivery of high quality, scalable and configurable solutions that adhere to industry standards for architecture, security and privacy, and best practices
-Oversees and manages projects and staff to assure project deadlines are met, escalates technical issues for timely resolution, and adheres to project management methodologies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of IT consulting experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role
Experience:
-Proven Domain and expert technical knowledge
-MS Azure and O365 experience
-Proven leadership abilities to provide IT infrastructure planning, testing, implementation, project management and operational support
-Ability to communicate information technology related concepts and technical issues into commonly understood language
Technical Skills:
-Advanced Microsoft Office and applications software expertise
-Ability to manage web application and services that interact with IP devices and web services
-Strong knowledge of security, authorization, and authentication
-Cloud experience, primarily in MS Azure
