Job Summary:


We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Director of Information Technology (IT) to lead our IT department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing IT operations, developing strategic IT initiatives, and driving digital transformation in a healthcare manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong leader with the ability to align IT strategy with business goals, ensure the security of our digital infrastructure, and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance our operational efficiency.


Job Roles and Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and product innovation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.


IT Operations Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the reliable performance and SLAs of all IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Support company strategy with frequent domain migrations from Merger and Acquisitions.


Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for IT staff.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to ensure IT solutions meet the needs of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on IT initiatives and performance.


Microsoft Cloud Services

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Proficiency in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security practices, compliance, and governance.
  • Ability to integrate and manage cloud applications, ensuring seamless operation with on-premises systems.
  • Expertise in cloud migration strategies and execution.



Job Qualifications:



· Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) is preferred.


· Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading successful IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.


·Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the healthcare industry.
