Director of Influencer Talent

The Director of Talent will manage the campaign team, conducting monthly 1-on-1 meetings, recruiting and training new team members, and ensuring effective communication and satisfaction through quarterly surveys. This role includes tracking team bonuses, preparing sales reports, and implementing talent development programs. The Director of Talent will also manage escalations, conduct talent meetings, and support talent casting in campaigns. Responsibilities extend to overseeing the signing of new talent, developing crisis management strategies, and staying updated on industry trends. Collaboration with marketing and business management departments is essential, along with building relationships with industry stakeholders and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Regular updates and reports to the executive team on talent management activities and outcomes are required. 


Responsibilities


Manage Campaign Team: 

  • Conduct monthly 1-on-1 meetings with all campaign team members. 
  • Recruit, interview, and train new team members 
  • Review the Campaigns email to ensure communication accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Conduct quarterly employee surveys to gauge team satisfaction and morale. 
  • Track and manage team bonuses. 
  • Prepare and send team sales reports. 
  • Develop and implement talent development programs to enhance skills and career growth. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of talent and team members, providing feedback and coaching as needed. 


Talent Management: 

  • Address and resolve escalations from influencer talent. 
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with all influencer talent. 
  • Administer and analyze talent satisfaction surveys regularly. 
  • Lead efforts to recruit new influencer talent. 
  • Provide support for casting influencer talent in campaigns. 
  • Oversee signing new influencer talent, including contract negotiation and review. 
  • Develop and implement crisis management strategies for any issues involving influencer talent. 
  • Reviewing influencer talent onboarding & making sure they are receiving all the services they need 
  • Evaluate Influencer Talent billings and performance 


Additional Responsibilities:  

  • Stay updated on industry trends and influencer marketing and talent management best practices. 
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure cohesive strategies and operations. 
  • Build relationships with key industry players, including brands, agencies, and other stakeholders. 
  • Ensure all talent agreements and campaigns comply with relevant laws and regulations. 
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team on talent management activities and outcomes. 


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in talent management, influencer marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of successful talent management and campaign execution. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Deep understanding of influencer marketing trends and best practices. 
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with talent, team members, and industry stakeholders. 
  • Crisis management skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
