Position Overview
As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our HR strategies to align with organizational goals. This remote position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and offers an annual compensation of $100,000 or more.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the HR department's policies, activities, and staff, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational mission.
Manage all HR functions including compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand staffing needs and strategize recruitment and retention efforts.
Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives to support organizational objectives.
Conduct research and analysis on HR trends and metrics to enhance decision-making.
Oversee employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations with fairness and adherence to policies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract qualified candidates and build a robust talent pipeline.
Maintain proficiency in HRIS systems and implement new technologies to streamline HR processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
Strong knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
Experience with HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) and proficiency in Google Workspace preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Work Environment
This role is remote, requiring a private workspace free from distractions. A secure network connection is essential due to the sensitive nature of HR responsibilities.
