About The Role

The Director of Housekeeping ensures that the highest standards are consistently met while promoting efficiencies and productivity in all aspects of the operations. Also Serves as a Hygiene Office to ensure that the entire resort and residences operations are in compliance with the LWC safety standards.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with contract companies and seasonal workforce to ensure delivering quality product and meeting Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts standards.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Responsible for processing payroll and adhering to budgeted labor standards.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory and divisional expenses such as uniforms, linens, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and contract services.
  • The ability to interview and select job applicants as well as effectively supervise, discipline, mentor and give performance evaluations for employees and convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale.
  • The ability to participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase guest satisfaction and service standards.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 4 years of management experience in Rooms Division, two years experience in Housekeeping and Laundry, previous Department Head experience preferred. Local 6 Union experience preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and systems, previous hotSOS, REX, ADP and Birchstreet experience preferred.
  • A proven record of being able to schedule staff and complete payroll records and reports in accordance with budgeted guidelines.
  • Thorough knowledge of luxury resort standards preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Prefer bilingual in Spanish.

Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Applicants will be responsible for obtaining or will currently hold proper work authorization for the country in which the position is located.
