Position: Director of Guest Experience - Senior Living Community
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

The Director of Guest Experience reports to the General Manager and is responsible for Guest Experiences of those we serve within the daily operations of our Senior Living Community in the Overland Park, KS area. The Director of Guest Experience is responsible for exceeding all operational goals, client objectives, resident satisfaction, people management and development while creating a positive work environment for staff and creating the best resident dining experience for our residents!
Customer Experience
Director of Guest Experience Essential Functions
Actively engage with residents and guest throughout all venues on campus while ensuring service and operational excellence standards are in place.
Cascade that all Front of House colleagues carry themselves in a professional manner while ensuring that service standards of Hospitality are maintained on a consistent basis.
Set the standard for Service Excellence and work to continuously mentor, coach and develop colleagues to learn, understand and elevate these standards.
Operations
Work closely with the Executive Chef regarding the purchasing of all food or other supplies as needed to ensure resident satisfaction is achieved.
Responsible for all essential functions of payroll processing and other financials within scope of responsibilities
Ensure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, uniform guidelines and productivity are maintained by all colleagues
Financial
Manage department controllable expenses and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Ability to generate financial reports and P&L analysis and reporting
Develop operational forecasts and manage departmental accounting functions
Oversight of beverage inventory management and updating price fluctuation
People
Provide direction and manage performance of all direct and indirect reports ensuring employee development and engagement
Manage and motivate employees through continuous communication and encouragement
Instruct, train, and mentor in the preparation of cooking, garnishing, presentation of food and customer service
Provide superior customer service and lead by example to including being attentive, approachable, greeting and engaging with residents.

Bachelor’s degree, culinary school certificate or degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5-7 years’ experience in a Senior Living, High-End Restaurant, Country Club or Hotel setting.
