The primary responsibility of the Director of Food & Beverage is the direct oversight of all resort food and beverage operations, encompassing fine-dining restaurants, banquet services, and seasonal beach and pool amenities. The Director of Food & Beverage will develop and implement department strategies, ensuring alignment with the resort's service strategy and initiatives. This role demands a focus on meeting target customer needs, driving employee satisfaction, increasing revenue, and optimizing the financial performance of F&B operations. The Director of Food & Beverage will also craft and execute property-wide strategies to deliver superior products and services, exceeding guest expectations.

Quality Assurance

Director of Food & Beverage Responsibilities:

  • Lead and analyze guest satisfaction metrics, service quality, sales, costs, and the quality and presentation of food and beverage products.
  • Maintain service standards, condition and cleanliness of facilities, and equipment.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service, fostering rapport with both hotel guests and local clientele.
  • Actively engage with guests, developing loyal relationships with repeat and new patrons.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee fine-dining restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Manage banquet services, delivering seamless events that exceed client expectations.
  • Supervise seasonal operations for beach and pool areas, maintaining high service levels during peak periods.

Strategy And Financial Performance

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance F&B operations.
  • Focus on growing revenues while maximizing the financial performance of all F&B outlets.
  • Monitor and control operational budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability.

Employee Development

  • Ensure employee satisfaction through effective leadership and management.
  • Implement training programs to maintain high standards of service and culinary excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to staff members.
