The Early Learning Coalition of Orange County is an organization dedicated to ensuring children ages birth to five have access to quality early care and education services. We provide child care subsidies for working poor families in Orange County, as well as administer the Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) program for four-year-olds. Our goal is to support children's development while respecting the crucial role of parents as their child's first teacher.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Financial Analyst at the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, analyzing data, preparing and interpreting financial statements, and financial reporting. The role will be primarily located in Orlando, FL, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data effectively
Experience in financial planning and creating financial statements
Knowledge of finance principles and practices
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience in the early care and education sector is a plus
