About The Role

Reporting to the CFO, the Controller/Director of Finance will serve as an integral member of the finance team, helping to manage a broad range of accounting, finance, treasury, operations and tax items across the funds, management company and other related entities. This individual will help enhance policies and procedures, evaluate service providers, and ensure the overall accounting and finance function is best-in-class.

What You'll Do:

• Perform review of quarterly and annual financial statements prepared by the outsourced service provider.
• Coordinate the financial reporting timelines and deliverables for all Fund entities, including working with the auditors and outsourced service providers.
• Organize the quarterly valuation process, including pulling together necessary information and performing initial analysis.
• Manage the treasury function, banking relationships, and analyze capital deployment strategy including recycle, liquidity, and fund scenario planning.
• Oversee Funds and GP tax work, including annual tax compliance process.
• Lead the management company financial reporting, tax and other activities. Help evaluate service providers and tech stack across the Funds finance function to ensure operational efficiency/effectiveness.
• Manage the quarterly portfolio data collection and reporting process.
• Support the General Partners, CFO, and head of investor relations on ad hoc projects as needed.

What You Have:

• 8-10 years of experience, primarily in Venture Capital.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
• Experience working with outsourced service providers.
• CPA qualification preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of Allvue Systems is desired.
• Intellectual curiosity and the desire to grow and learn.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Keen ability to think through systems and processes to streamline day to day operations and reporting.
