Director of Finance

Robert Half has partnered with an industry leading distribution company located in Burbank, California, and is seeking a Finance Director. This role will involve a range of financial, planning, and analysis tasks, including process standardization and automation, M&A, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of financial strategy for the company

• Participating in M&A opportunity review, due diligence, and integration

• Advising management on opportunities for financial performance improvements including cost savings, revenue enhancement measures, and operational improvement opportunities

• Managing financial and accounting integrations and conversions related to system and/or process changes

• Identifying opportunities to improve internal controls over company’s processes and procedures

• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process

• Playing a critical role in creating SBU presentations

• Assisting in coaching, developing, and growing a high-performing Finance team

• Assisting in the domestic and international audits

Key Qualifications:

• 10-15+ years in a leadership position within finance

• Previous FP&A/Finance experience in a manufacturing/distribution company

• Public accounting and/or CPA certification is a plus

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Prior M&A

• Previous experience managing large teams in multiple locations
