Key Details :

  • Title: Director of Finance because it includes both Finance and Accounting responsibilities
  • Responsibilities will include oversight of the AP, Close process, including FS prep.
  • Will assist CFO with future acquisition analysis and modeling.
  • Will develop financial reporting
  • Hybrid role
  • Comp range depending on experience, up to $120K plus equity and 100 % benefits for employee (Just looking for a few years exp.- )
  • Hands-on role - a great opportunity for someone who wants to be groomed to take on a CFO role for a midsize public company.
  • In the process of an IPO
  • Four direct reports
  • Equity included with the role-
  • Will have to go in office 2x a week - Miami|Broward county line

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Cost Analysis
  • Create and analyze ad-hoc financial reporting to ensure operational efficiency for all departments.
  • Create and prepare reports that are digestible for all team members.
  • Advise executive leadership team on all budget and budgeting decisions.
  • Oversees all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • in all finance matters for the company.
  • Regularly audits accounts to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in preparing and communicating monthly financial information and key performance indicators to leadership.
  • Create and implement processes and procedures for the finance & accounting departments.
  • Review financial aspects of all proposals and contracts.
  • Assist leadership team with creating annual budgets.
  • Oversees and creates business activity reports, financial forecasts, and budgets.
  • Led, manage, and oversee the offshore finance team.

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ Years' experience as a Controller, Financial Lead or Director of Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Financial Management
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient to expert in Excel
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong work ethic
