Key Responsibilities:


  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, including the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and manage working capital.
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Oversee and manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Implement strategies to optimize collections and payment cycles.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement robust internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems. Implement best practices and drive operational efficiency across the finance function.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance.
  • Proven experience in a startup or high-growth company is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel/Sheets skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
