We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance and Accounting to join our team. As the Director of Finance and Accounting, you will play a key role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You'll manage a small, yet impactful team, which will require you to be hands-on in various aspects of our company's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the finance and accounting operations of the company
• Manage and build a high-performing finance and accounting team, both in the US and in India
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement software tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors
• Oversee the audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are met on on time
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA required
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a minimum of 4 years at a $30-50mm SAAS start-up with 200-300 people
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations
• Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
• Proven experience setting up and optimizing financial processes and systems
• Experience leading and managing a team in the US and familiarity with managing accounting operations in India is preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office
