FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is seeking an individual who can oversee the design, coordination, and execution of field trials involving our microbial products in collaboration with farmers. This role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with farmers, conducting experiments, gathering data, and analyzing outcomes to inform the decision-making processes of the company. The primary objective of these trials is to assess the effectiveness of our products on both plants and soil health. Field trials span across diverse geographical locations in the United States, encompassing a wide variety of crops. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel extensively (>75%), including overseas. Regular visits to farms and field experiments will be needed to ensure accurate data collection and to stay on top of any necessary revisions to crop management plans. Responsibilities also include conducting soil monitoring through test digs and samples throughout the trial period, as well as assessing farming techniques to enhance the application of our microbial products. This will include collaboration with farm managers on pest control, chemical application, and irrigation to ensure optimal positioning of our products. Additionally, the role involves identifying farming challenges and opportunities through research projects, assisting in the selection of fertilizers and chemicals for crop application, and contributing to various crop trials such as planning trials, data collection, and preparing comprehensive summary reports.

Salary Range: $150k-$180k/yr
