Director of Facilities & Maintenance

The Director of Manufacturing Maintenance will be responsible to set the goals, strategies and objectives in order to lead our team and performance to a higher level. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of 150 highly skilled, multi-trade team members in a large, progressive pork manufacturing facility.

The Director of Maintenance will lead the team to deliver on our mission statement “To be a trusted partner in service, efficiency, and innovation. We will work with both internal and external resources to maintain or improve equipment and processes in accordance with our Key Expectations of Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and People”.

• Create atmosphere where change is supported to improve our team to support a growing organization
• Develop our leadership team through Individual development and succession plans
• Ensure processes for Team Members recognition are consistent and effective in identifying achievements, potential for growth and future leaders
• Develop and maintain programs to source and develop technically skilled team members
• Ensure training and implementation of all regulatory / compliance objectives are met
• Implement and maintain Maintenance Management Operating System (MMOS)
• Manage all KPI’s including, safety, budgets, PM completion, WO backlog, labor, downtime, etc.
• Develop and maintain processes to analyze and improve performance
• Represent team as a technical expert in providing solutions for our customers
• Participate in a variety of organizational meetings
• Respond to problems with a high sense of urgency while also developing processes to prevent problems
