PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Director of Facilities for our Columbus health centers.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Coordinates office moves across the organization.
• Assists with soliciting and evaluating contract bids, consulting with architects, engineers and other contractors.
• Oversees and enforces the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Conducts emergency training and drills.
• Maintains knowledge of State, Federal regulations as well as standards applicable to the healthcare facilities industry for organizations such as American with Disabilities Act, Environmental Protection Agency, National Fire Protection Association, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory and orders items as necessary.
• Coordinate with the COO and CFO on enterprise-wide facilities projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
• Responsible for special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Coordinate and schedules maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure facilities are clean, safe, sanitary and conducive to the delivery of quality patient care.
• Oversees performance and maintains records of cyclical maintenance projects.
• Oversees building security and safety.
• Assists with training staff in use of fire extinguishers and evacuation procedures.
• Oversees continued development of office and sites (exterior and interiors), building equipment, and grounds.
• Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors and patients.
• Supervises furniture management and move/adds/changes processes to ensure standardization across the organization.
• Works with EH & S and local fire departments to support fire/life safety compliance with regards to drills and evacuations; oversight of maintenance technicians to address deficiencies.
  
  

Successful candidates must posses a minimum High school diploma or equivalent; degree/certification in Business Administration or Healthcare Management desired.

Experience: Minimum four years of multi-site Facilities Management; minimum of four years’ project management. Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems. Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.

Employment with PrimaryOne Health is contingent on new hires completing full COVID-19 vaccination within 45 days of start date to maintain employment (unless you request and receive an exemption)
