The Director of Enterprise Systems Support will lead the complete lifecycle of support system selection, implementation, and maintenance to deliver a positive and customer focused experience. This position will partner with functions across the organization to gain a wholistic understanding of business needs. The Director of Enterprise System Support will facilitate a collaborative environment with clear communication, expectations, and support of key business applications. The Director of Enterprise Systems Support will possess an understanding of the latest technological trends and advancements and adapt service capabilities accordingly.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze the existing enterprise support system landscape and develop a strategic roadmap to optimize current processes.
  • Navigate support system selection, implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the development and facilitation of end user support training.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure needs are fully supported and vet new areas of opportunity.
  • Implement ever-changing compliance practices and ways of operating.
  • Collaborate with appropriate functions to negotiate vendor and third-party system provider contracts as needed.
  • Acquire, maintain, and support all enterprise hardware and software in partnership with the broader IT team, ensuring systems are maintained for business users.
  • Define, document and communicate service level agreements and resource allocation.
  • Leverage strengths of the current team members, clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Support and challenge departments with new ways of operating by providing insight, actionable suggestions, and presenting best practices.

Desired Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in managing portfolio of technical systems supporting one or more business sectors.
  • 5+ years leading and developing direct reports.
  • 3+ years operating, maintaining, and supporting a production business system portfolio.
  • Proven experience in implanting the complete life cycle of technology projects.
