Director of Enrollment Development

McPherson College seeks dynamic and innovative candidates for the position of Director of Enrollment Development. This is a full-time, 12-month, college benefits eligible, exempt position that reports to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment

The Director of Enrollment Development is responsible for developing enrollment opportunities for program growth. This position will work with faculty, staff, special interest groups and high school organizations to develop connections and interest that leads to program growth. This position focuses on new program recruitment development for areas like Auto Restoration, Health Sciences, and emerging programs. Additionally, this position will implement recruitment plans for other academic programs as they strive to increase enrollment; this includes planning visit days, outreach opportunities, and industry connections. This position will provide recruitment updates to the VP for enrollment, faculty and academic affairs departments. This position will be responsible for developing other opportunities for development such as high school counselor outreach strategies, alumni pipeline development, and other duties as assigned by the Associate VP for Enrollment.

Minimum qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Outlook email. In addition, the successful candidate will be courteous and professional with their customer service skills and will have exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the ability to navigate institutional technology is expected.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience of five to seven years in higher education recruitment is required.

Ability for occasional overnight travel.
