Role:


The Director of Engineering will oversee projects and manage teams across software, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative medical devices and technologies. Also, be vital for strategic planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the alignment of engineering activities with the company's goals. The director oversees project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, fosters collaboration among diverse engineering teams, and drives the implementation of best practices in design, development, and testing.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in medical device development.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing cross-functional engineering teams, including software, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of software engineering, mechanical design, and electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proven track record in leading the development of complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to market.


This is a hybrid role based in Greater Boston and will require some travel into the office. Salary is flexible dependent on candidates experience level.
