Hello! I am recruiting a Director of Engineering opening for our privately owned manufacturing customer who is located in the south Metro of the Twin Cities.

• The ideal candidate is responsible for managing and overseeing the engineering function for the entire organization, including business case for new products and their corresponding rollouts.
• Prioritizing opportunities and creating product designs to position the company as the frontrunner in the industry. Designs to meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and ensure manufacturing is as efficient as possible.
• New products are released in a phase-gate process to ensure all steps are managed. This position oversees mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• This person will take the lead in the implementation and sustained use of continuous improvement methods and tools to bring about improvement across the business. The scope of this job includes the planning, budgeting, implementing and overseeing off all capital equipment projects
