LOCATION: 100% remote with quarterly travel to Chicago area
PAY: $200-235k + bonus

REQUIREMENTS:
Must Haves:
People leadership. Ability to inspire and set a vision.
Architecture of Software Testing experience with automation.
Lead Engineer experience – willing to roll up sleeves and get dirty.
Evaluation of existing technology. Does it work for us and our needs?
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with their tech stack (Angular, React, PHP, .Net, Kubernetes, Microservices)
White Hat/Black Hat security
Familiarity with offshore + have ties there.
ROLE IN A NUTSHELL: The product is doing extremely well. Chance to reshape and buildout the Engineering department – lots of low hanging fruit. High visibility role. This is a massive opportunity to come in and make changes and have your fingerprints all over what this department is going to look like. You can build your own team and create your own plan. You can use offshore resources or onshore. You will be the architect of this team.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills while also being able to lead a working group.
10+ years of hands-on experience leading and evaluating engineering (development and QA) teams and technologies.
Experience working with end users collecting requirements and communicating best practices.
Experience architecting engineering departments.
Someone from a smaller organization (not enterprise level).
