Our 1g sugar, plant-based Nut & Seed Bars and Granola Bars are found in 11,000+ locations including Walmart and other key accounts nationwide in the U.S. as well as on Amazon.com and ecommerce. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful startup with proven ability to compete with major brands through our next stages of rapid growth.


This is a remote position reporting to the President/Co-founder.


As Director of Ecommerce, you will drive growth of online sales and continuously innovate in profitably acquiring new customers and retaining our existing customer base. You will be supported by a robust operations team that consistently maintains healthy inventory levels, as well as an excellent and responsive customer service and marketing team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own e-commerce sales and execution to drive growth, profitability, and brand affinity on Amazon, DTC, Walmart.com and other e-com channels
  • Shopper marketing apps and other ecom platforms such as Walmart 1P.
  • Develop the strategy, business plan, and annual budget for e-commerce while expanding channel mix and improving all relevant KPIs (LTV, CAC, contribution margin, channel CPAs, retention cohorts, customer churn feedback, return rates, etc.) 
  • Maintain core understanding of traffic driving programs and success metrics including SEM, SEO, social, display and email marketing. Partners with the marketing team to optimize these programs to deliver on sales goals
  • Develop and present regular competitive analysis and audits of e-commerce and analytical standard methodologies; converts insights into new ideas
  • Build and maintain dashboards. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to increase site conversion and drive site improvements
  • Manage multiple partner agencies to help achieve goals and scale efforts 
  • Responsible for product listing set up, upkeep, and continual optimization 
  • Work with marketing team to develop immersive, engaging content for product pages and regularly update to reflect changes in product strategy, consumer dynamics and best practices.
  • Work with marketing to develop and execute advertising campaigns and promotional calendar, setting objectives and goals, working collaboratively to create content, track results and adjust plans to respond to analytics. 
  • Support new product launches and product launch promotions.
  • Lead keyword research for new and existing products via close coordination with Director of Marketing
  • Perform competitive product analysis, identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Cross-functional leadership to ensure proper inventory planning and 3PL execution


Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record of major YOY growth on DTC and Amazon generally, and on a per sku basis
  • Experience with Shopify or ShopifyPlus and Google Analytics
  • Experience with A/B, multivariate and other forms of web testing
  • Deep knowledge of Amazon and DTC ecosystem
  • Strong ability to interpret data and make actionable business recommendations
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excitement about the E-commerce space, with a desire for continued learning and mastering of new strategies and technology
