Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of E-commerce at 1Oklahoma. The Director of E-commerce will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategy of the e-commerce platform and our subscriptions business. This includes e-commerce strategy, managing online (and sometimes on-location) sales, merchandising, procurement, customer retention, and implementing e-comm best practices. The role is located in Norman, OK, but offers hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with OU athletes to design and deliver products that engage fans and deliver on athlete brand visions. You will partner with our Marketing team to optimize site traffic through paid and organic media campaigns. You will own the online buy flow, merchandising, and conversion rates. You will design subscription packages that deliver value to OU fans. You will partner with Marketing to design and implement email campaigns that engage our customers and promote content, merchandise, and events offered by 1Oklahoma.
Qualifications
Analytical Skills and E-commerce expertise
Experience building and optimizing online storefronts
Ability to analyze market trends and customer behavior
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience in the sports industry is a plus
