As a Director of Data Product at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by designing and delivering a roadmap for initiatives that will enhance West Shore Home’s use of data engineering, warehousing, advanced analytics, and data science. You will build and lead a data team that will focus on developing and executing strategies to oversee our data infrastructure. You will report directly to our Vice President of Business Systems and oversee a team of Data Architects, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Application Engineers.

What You’ll Contribute

In This Role, You Can Expect To

  • Take responsibility over defining the roles required to quickly expand West Shore Home’s data capabilities around architecture, engineering, analytics, and applications
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and tools that enhance the business’s capabilities, such as machine learning, and AI-driven analytics
  • Design the data roadmap that enables West Shore Home’s data-driven decision making and support the company’s strategic goals
  • Oversee the development and deployment of the data pipelines and cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, Fivetran, Databricks, and other existing, new, and custom services
  • Define and oversee a team whose role is to extract valuable insights from data using PowerBI, Tableau CRM, and other existing, new, and custom services

What It Takes to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience overseeing cloud-based infrastructures in Azure including Storage, Networking, Administration, and tools like SQL, Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse
  • 5+ years of overseeing enterprise data management, integration, and transformation tools
  • 5+ years of experience using BI packages of Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Tableau CRM, and Salesforce Reporting and Dashboards
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and analytical skills
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders to identify opportunities and scope solutions
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading technical and/or product development teams using agile methodology
  • 5+ years of experience of product and product strategy leadership
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required

The guaranteed pay range for this position is $140,000.00 per year to $190,000.00 per year. The actual rate is based on each candidate’s skill set and will be determined by the Hiring Manager. This role is a salaried, exempt position that is not eligible for overtime pay.
