Position: Director of Cybersecurity

Location: Remote (west coast)

Salary Range: $150,000 - $230,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

Their team is composed of passionate and skilled professionals committed to staying ahead of emerging cyber threats. They are currently seeking an experienced Director of Cybersecurity to join the team on the West Coast

Position Overview: As the Director of Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for leading this company's cybersecurity initiatives, developing robust security strategies, and ensuring the protection of our information systems. You will oversee a team of experts in various domains of cybersecurity and work closely with other departments to implement and maintain the highest security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the cybersecurity team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee intelligence collection, incident response, and insider threat analysis.
• Manage network operations and ensure the integrity and security of our networks.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber policies and integrate them into our operations.
• Supervise security operations, including malware analysis, specialized cloud expertise, forensic investigations, penetration testing, and application testing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective security measures.
• Regularly assess and improve security protocols and systems to address new threats.

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Proven experience in intelligence collection, incident response, insider threat analysis, network operations, emerging cyber policy, and security operations.
• Expertise in malware analysis, specialized cloud security, forensic investigations, penetration testing, and application testing.
• Exceptional team leadership and management skills.
• Ability to stay informed about the latest developments in the cybersecurity field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
