To support our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Customer Acquisition / Growth Marketing to spearhead our paid media efforts across various platforms to drive growth in DTC and retail. As the Director of Customer Acquisition / Growth Marketing, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company.


The Director Manager of Customer Acquisition / Growth Marketing will be responsible for driving customer acquisition strategies and managing a multi-million dollar budget allocated for paid media campaigns. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who is experienced in leading successful direct-response acquisition strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, Influencer Platforms, Podcast, Affiliate, Streaming Video and other emerging channels. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in customer acquisition.


This is a New York City based role and we’re looking for somebody who will be in the office at least times a week.



Responsibilities:


Paid Media Strategy:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive paid media strategy to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Identify target audience segments and design tailored campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize campaign performance based on key metrics and market trends.


Budget Management:

  • Manage a multi-million yearly budget allocated for direct-response paid media campaigns effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to allocate budget across platforms, channels, and campaigns for optimal results.
  • Monitor and report on budget utilization, ensuring compliance with financial objectives.


Campaign Execution:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, Podcast, Affiliate).
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including marketing leadership, brand, design, and analytics, to align campaign objectives and messaging.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights, track campaign performance, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of paid media campaigns and present findings to key stakeholders.Continuously stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and strategies.


Ad strategy:

  • Develop compelling ad campaigns that resonate with our target audience, drive engagement, and deliver impactful results. 
  • Identify customer insights and translate them into effective ad strategies that cut through the noise and capture attention. 
  • Ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice, values, and marketing objectives.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Build, lead and inspire a team of paid media specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align customer acquisition strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing customer acquisition campaigns across paid media platforms for a successful CPG brand 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Keen understanding of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and the ability to craft persuasive and captivating messaging
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically and can navigate the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of customer acquisition in a start-up environment
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to stakeholders.
