Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Curriculum Director to lead our educational initiatives. The Curriculum Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring alignment mission.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a dedicated task force to develop a comprehensive K-12 course map that embodies educational vision.

Coordinate with subject-specific committees to evaluate and select learning materials that align with our mission and promote academic progress.

Design evaluation tools to ensure curriculum materials support mission and integrate seamlessly with our Catholic faith.

Develop a strategic plan for the implementation of new curriculum materials, focusing on continuous assessment and improvement.

Provide support and guidance to regional managers and center admins to ensure effective curriculum implementation.

Facilitate staff training sessions to articulate and reinforce classical education methodologies at every grade level.

Recruit and empower tutor support teams to provide ongoing training and assistance to tutors and parents.

Maintain a centralized online repository of curriculum materials for easy access by all stakeholders.

Establish and communicate academic policies that uphold mission and promote student responsibility for learning.

Oversee student assessment processes and communicate progress to parents in alignment with curriculum objectives.

Foster partnerships with organizations that enhance effectiveness and promote our educational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for continuous improvement in curriculum development.

Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse stakeholders.

Thorough understanding of classical education principles and their application in Catholic settings.

Excellent organizational abilities, with a focus on prioritization and multitasking.

Extensive K-12 teaching experience, preferably within Catholic educational environments.

Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Data analysis skills to inform curriculum enhancements.

Familiarity with homeschooling models and openness to hybrid education approaches.

Proficiency in educational technology tools and learning management systems.
