Role Overview
As the Curriculum Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our educational program, from crafting engaging lesson plans to ensuring alignment with our mission and values. Your leadership will guide our team in establishing a comprehensive K-12 course map and implementing curriculum enhancements that promote academic success and spiritual development within our homeschool hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of a cohesive K-12 course map that reflects our mission and values.
Collaborate with subject-specific committees to evaluate and select instructional materials in alignment with our educational objectives.
Develop evaluation tools to assess curriculum effectiveness and alignment with our mission and faith-based principles.
Implement a strategic plan for curriculum selection and rollout, ensuring ongoing feedback and support for tutors and families.
Provide guidance and resources to regional managers and center administrators for effective curriculum implementation.
Conduct staff training and documentation to ensure consistency in classical education methodology across all grade levels.
Recruit, motivate, and support tutor teams to deliver high-quality instruction and support services.
Maintain an accessible online repository of curriculum materials for easy access by all stakeholders.
Establish and communicate academic policies that uphold our educational mission and promote student accountability.
Facilitate ongoing assessment and communication of student learning outcomes to parents.
Develop a streamlined process for addressing curriculum updates and communicating them to tutors and families.
Cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance our educational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong commitment to our mission and values, with a practicing Catholic background preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and transparently in a team environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Thorough understanding of Catholic classical education principles.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
K-12 Teaching Experience In Catholic Educational Settings Preferred.
Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
Proficiency in educational technology tools and learning management systems.
