About The Role
The Director of CRM and Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for customer-centric marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in CRM and lifecycle marketing within the CPG or e-commerce industry, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive impactful marketing initiatives.
Requirements
What you will do
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies to optimize customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value
- Identify key customer segments and create personalized marketing campaigns tailored to each segment's needs and behaviors
- Collaborate with the CMO to align CRM strategies with overall business goals and marketing objectives
- Campaign Management:
- Design, execute, and manage multi-channel CRM campaigns, including email, SMS, direct mail, and in-app messaging
- Utilize marketing automation tools to create and manage customer journeys, ensuring timely and relevant communication at each touchpoint
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve future campaigns
- Customer Insights and Analytics:
- Leverage customer data and analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to drive targeted marketing efforts
- Track and report on key CRM metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of CRM and lifecycle marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of CRM initiatives
- Technology and Tools:
- Manage and optimize CRM and marketing automation platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of the marketing team and the business
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CRM technologies and best practices, continuously seeking ways to enhance the customer experience and drive efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in CRM and lifecycle marketing, with a focus on customer retention and engagement
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful CRM strategies and campaigns within the CPG or e-commerce industry
- Must have deep experience within Shopify and at least some experience with Amazon as a sales channel
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation and loyalty program tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Yotpo, etc )
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work

- Base range of $125,000 - 150,000 with flexibility depending on background and experience;
