Director of Corporate Finance

We're looking for a talented and motivated Director of Corporate Finance to join our finance team and play a key role in evaluating and valuing potential acquisition targets within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential acquisition targets, utilizing various valuation methodologies (e.g., discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, transaction multiples)
• Develop detailed financial models to project future cash flows and assess the financial viability of potential acquisitions
• Analyze target company financials to identify key performance indicators, trends, and potential synergies with our company
• Research and analyze market data and industry trends relevant to the financial services sector
• Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports to communicate valuation findings and recommendations to senior management
• Support the FLP Leadership team with due diligence activities, including financial and market analysis
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in M&A valuation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, graduate degree a plus
• 8-10 years of experience in corporate finance or M&A, preferably within the financial services industry
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team
