Director of Corporate Engagement

Our client, a nonprofit organization that provides career services for underserved students, has an opportunity available for a Director of Corporate Engagement.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this Director is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of the corporate partnership program – from initial recruitment of corporate employers to the successful completion of student internships via client satisfaction and experience. This position will help forge new relationships to build the organization's visibility, impact, and capacity and requires a combination of business development, relationship management, and strategic thinking to identify, negotiate, and execute mutually beneficial partnerships that align with the organization's objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 10 + years relevant project/program and people management experience, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability
• 5+ years direct management experience
• Proven experience in corporate partnership development, business development, or related roles.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing partnership deals and contracts.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
• Analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, performance metrics, and financial information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Prior experience delivering presentations to an Executive audience a plus.
• Experience working directly with youth of diverse populations, preferably high school students
• Experience with a corporate work environment, especially expectations regarding professional behavior and performance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
