Innovative, technology company seeks a Director of Corporate Accounting with a background in depository services or payment processing services. The Director of Corporate Accounting will be responsible for overseeing: the financial reporting process, performing the monthly/quarterly/annually financial statement close process, assisting with tax related inquiries, researching accounting issues/inquiries/updates, maintaining general accounting functions, consolidations, preparing documentation for external audits, cost-reduction, implementation and development of new procedures, and department training. This candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of the month end close process in addition to year-end auditing.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process
Provide budgeting and forecasting
Financial Analysis
Prepare financial statements
Generate monthly close schedules
Maintain financial documents
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Process Improvement of Internal Controls
Assist with external audit activities
Oversee internal controls
Requirements
The ideal Director of Corporate Accounting will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
Other requirements for the Director of Corporate Accounting role include and are not limited to:
CPA preferred
10+ years of overall corporate accounting experience
Oracle NetSuite preferred
Strong GAAP experience
