💰 Salary: $200-225k

Overview

Our client is a big player in the mid-Atlantic Real Estate and Data Center Development market and is arguably one of the most exciting and forward-thinking developers in the Northern Virginia Area. They’re now looking to onboard two Directors of Construction and Development to progress their hyperscale Data Center build-out.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced knowledge of Data Center development, design, and construction
• Use financial models to gauge the feasibility of projects
• Draft agreements and edit legal documents related to design and construction
• Develop and coordinate project schedules and execute sustainability plans including an understanding of relevant Data Center metrics (e.g: PUE, WUE)
• Utilise extensive Microsoft Office skills, with cloud-based project management software skills a plus (Autodesk, Procure, Construction Cloud)
• Communicate effectively across multiple projects and meet detailed deadlines
• Interpret federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and past approvals pertaining to the development of assets

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, engineering, architecture/planning
• Project management (PMP) and construction management (CCM) certifications preferred
• 3+ years of experience in data center development, design, engineering or construction, preferably in hyperscale data center projects
• Experience with project risk management and mitigation strategies
