Position Overview: The Director of Construction is responsible for overseeing the entire construction process for retail and restaurant projects. The Director will manage construction teams and collaborate with external partners to ensure projects are successful, on time, and within budget. They will also monitor construction progress and assess project risks.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the entire construction process from initiation to completion.
Manage construction teams and coordinate all activities related to the construction project.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and other external partners.
Analyze and review all project plans, designs, and contracts.
Develop project execution plans and ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Provide technical guidance, support, and advice to project team members.
Assess and manage project risks and escalate any issues as needed.
Manage performance and develop strategies to improve process efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a Construction Management role.
Knowledge of retail and restaurant construction methods, practices, and procedures.
Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
