POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY STANDARDS AND RESPONSIBILITY
(CSR)
CLASSIFICATION: FULL – STAFF – SALARIED
REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT AFFAIRS
DEPARTMENT: STUDENT DEVELOPMENT
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Affairs, directly supervises the CSR
department to coordinate, facilitate, and monitor all areas and services available.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
(OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
○ Graduate Assistant/s
Experience with higher education administration. Excellent administrative and customer service
skills. Ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritize tasks and work independently and as a
team-member. Strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Ability to effectively
present information to large groups of people. Ability to analyze complex situations and to make
sound judgments and decisions. Knowledge of FERPA. Strong computer skills. Experience in
working with a diverse population of students. Experience in commitment to valuing diversity
and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Essential Qualifications
Master's degree in Higher Education or related field from a regionally accredited college or
University. Graduate Or Student Affairs Professional Experience Required.
SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT
Continued employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation.

Position Summary

department to coordinate, facilitate, and monitor all areas and services available.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
(OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
- Oversight for two areas with personnel:
○ Graduate Assistant/s
- Administer all aspects of the University’s hearing process and serve as the primary
- Meet with the Campus Life professional staff team to review case load, assign cases for
- Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough records on all judicial cases.
- Coordinate the office’s assessment plan.
- Compile monthly and yearly statistical information and provide interpretations of the data
- Ensure the University’s compliance with federal laws and guidelines relative to student
- Serves as a Title IX Investigator when needed/requested.
- Hosts educational events on campus.
- Utilize effective inter/intra-office communication.
- Foster positive working relationships and serve as a liaison with Campus Safety, Student
- Assist with completing the day-to-day operations of the Department of Community
- Collaboration with Student Development, Academic and Student Success Departments to
- Commitment to work with a diverse population of students.
- Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning
- Provides supervision and direction in the recommendation of the annual budgets and
- Educate and mentor student leaders and potential student leaders.
- Support the University’s mission and values as a contributing member of the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
