Tower Loan is searching for a full-time Director of Communication to join our team.

The Director of Communication is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies and materials to enhance the organization's image, promote its mission, and engage stakeholders effectively. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to drive impactful messaging across various channels.

Compensation

$65,000/annually plus annual bonus

Responsibility Summary

  • Review and finalize language in training materials to ensure understanding and effective application.
  • Create comprehensive statements of works (SOWs) for the I.T. department.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create and distribute press releases with the approval of the CEO, internal newsletters (Tower Talk), memos, publications, and other communication materials to disseminate news and information.
  • Manage Tower’s intranet system and ensure the accuracy of other department pages and documents.
  • Ensure all internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, alignment, and morale.
  • Collaborate with executives and senior management to integrate communication plans into overall business strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  • Oversee the organization's digital presence, including website content, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
  • Develop crisis communication plans and protocols for potential emergencies or sensitive issues.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior communications role, with a track record of success in developing and executing communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in communication tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • This position is located in Flowood, MS. The employee will report daily to our corporate location. *

Work Schedule

  • Work Schedule: M–F; 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; overtime may be occasionally required due to department and organizational needs.
