The Role
Workweek is looking for a Director of Career Programs to manage career development programs. This role is responsible for launching and running career development cohort based courses for working professionals, overseeing a team of part-time contractors
Since being acquired in August of 2022, Mission Collaborative programs have been successfully integrated into Workweek’s broader ecosystem, and is in need of a Director of Career Programs.
The ideal candidate is excited by working on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for individuals who can run with projects without heavy supervision, are great communicators, and bring positivity to the work environment as Making Work Fun is part of our operating principles.

We serve thousands of working professionals of all ages (20s to 60s) and backgrounds who want to find more fulfillment in their careers. Our primary offering is the 30-day online Career Design Fellowship based on Design Thinking principles. The program guides participants through our proven Career Design process to figure out what they want next from their career and how to make it happen. Responsibilities
- Ideal candidates for this role will have a proven background in program development, creator communications, internal stakeholder management, and measurement of multiple multi-faceted programs
- Account Management/Administration
- Program Management
- Oversee a team of part-time contractors (Program Managers) who provide direct participant support during the programs
- Lead Program Manager hiring process
- Onboard new program managers
- Facilitate weekly team meetings
- Review weekly participant feedback, triage support for Program Managers
- De-escalate participant concerns during the program
- Collect and document improvement ideas for future Fellowships
- Experience implementing career development programs and developing curriculum for adult learners
- Strong knowledge of Google Sheets and analytics
- Strong operational skills and keen attention to detail
- Passion to lead a team and grow a program’s impact and revenue
- Confident using data to inform decision making and achieve KPIs
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
- Good understanding of project management

- Remote operations with the ability to work in the time zone of your choice (or work IRL in our Austin, TX or New York City office)
- Unlimited PTO with a minimum of 3 days/quarter used
- 100% health insurance coverage, 75% coverage for dependents, and $150/month towards an HSA (or $150/month health stipend if insurance not used)
- 120 days of parental leave to use within one year of childbirth (available 12 months after your start date and only available every 365 days)
- 401(k) plan with 3.5% company match
- $500 one-time stipend for any home office needs used after the first 90 days
- 5-week sabbatical after 4 years on staff
- 2 volunteering days per year
- 1x/year in-person team retreat
- $100/month book stipend
- Want to start a new company? We will be the first investor in your startup if you’ve been with Workweek for 3 years
