Job Overview:

We are searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Business Development and Relationship Management to spearhead our franchise unit development and territory sales efforts. You will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with our franchisees, from onboarding new partners to fostering long-term success for existing locations. This role offers extensive travel opportunities (75%), allowing you to explore exciting markets in California, Arizona, Colorado, and Las Vegas while driving Fantastic Sams' continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong connections with franchisees, understanding their unique needs and goals
  • Collaborate with field leadership teams to identify growth opportunities, manage risks, and oversee franchise renewals
  • Set and achieve ambitious development and resale goals for our salon network
  • Attract new franchisees through innovative strategies and lead the resale process
  • Leverage your industry expertise to guide franchisees in areas like operations, talent acquisition, site selection, and financial management
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key partners, including brokers, landlords, contractors, lenders, and local developers
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the salon franchise agreement and ensure adherence to business ethics, confidentiality, and competitive practices
  • Negotiate contracts with existing franchisees and keep stakeholders informed
  • Assist franchisees with lease negotiations, both for new locations and renewals
  • Track resales, provide ongoing communication to stakeholders, and identify new market opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization, combining efforts across departments
  • Participate in designated regional and national trade shows to generate new leads, build partnerships, and stay current on industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Proven success in sales within a business or related environment
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of site selection, real estate analytics, and lease content/language
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with frequent travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams

Pay: $80,000+
